Based in Central Auckland, I specialise in family photography that captures the essence of your unique story. My sessions focus on authentic, unposed moments blended with casual, natural poses (think: 'let's find a spot and see what unfolds'). I provide just enough direction to keep things flowing smoothly, while giving you the freedom to be yourselves.

AT HOME LIFESTYLE FAMILY SESSION
Our lifestyle family sessions are relaxed, gentle sessions which take a more natural and candid focus. We capture your family in your home environment, finding connections and capturing special moments.
We service the Central Auckland region, if you are outside this area we may be able to accommodate you. Please touch base with us to find out more. All photos usually take between 2-4 weeks to edit.

- 30 minute session in your own home

Family Mini Session
Our outdoor Family Mini Sessions take place at our famous Monte Cecelia Park location and are perfect for larger, energetic families. Sessions are short and sweet and make the most of the beautiful natural scenery that makes up Monte Cecelia Park in Hillsborough.
Sessions Includes:
- 15-20 min shoot
- 10 digital images including copies in black and white
- $150 plus GST - payment required on booking

Family Full Session
Our family sessions capture your special bond and unique personalities in a relaxed, joyful atmosphere. Enjoy cuddles, laughter, and all the fun of being together!
Sessions are held outdoors, bringing our wonderful natural landscapes into our sessions and capturing those uniquely kiwi moments. The outdoor settings also allow families explore and connect in engaging and natural ways.
Packages for a single family unit start from $300 plus GST and include a 45 minute session plus 20 digital images supplied through an online gallery – both colour & black and white versions.

I found this little gem when I was looking back over some older shoots and had to share it.
When creating a collection for families you have to choose which pictures to keep and which to cull. You don't always get it right. Sometimes you discard a photo for some small imperfection and lose out on sharing a photo like this one, one that is full of character and authenticity. I mean just look at that little face!

But for photographers like me whose goal is to capture the essence of feeling, vulnerability is about opening oneself up in order to connect. Connect with the moment, connect with the people around you and to connect with what you're photographing. What if my child misbehaves through the whole shoot? Does this sound familiar?
This is pretty much the number one concern parents have when booking a family shoot with me and I get it. One of things I love the most about working with children is just how uninhibited they are. They know what they want and aren't afraid to stand their ground to get it. Sometimes this can seem challenging and parents worry that their kids won’t listen or take direction.
Some children love direction and respond really well to being guided and other children work best when a photographer gets on their wavelength and works with their energy levels. If that means following them around the beach while they point out all the cool shells they can find instead of sitting on mums lap, then I’m all good with that. There are different strategies for different personalities, and part of being a photographer is reading those differences and responding to what works best. Please don’t let those worries get in the way of getting some really lovely family photographs that showcase just who you are as a family!
